Sexy lingerie and comfort don’t always go hand in hand.

If you want to dress like a Dominatrix or become a wet look wonder woman, you’ve often got to sacrifice a bit of comfort and ease of wear.

That’s why I was pleasantly surprised to receive four pieces of sensual lingerie from Lovehoney that are as comfortable as they are sensual!

What I gained from this experience, apart from some gorgeous lingerie, is the knowledge that it is perfectly possible to look sexy and feel comfortable at the same time.

Don’t take my word for it though, check out Lovehoney’s newest lingerie here.

Serving body-ody-ody

Purple. Strappy. Bodysuit. Surely I don’t need to explain why this strappy sensation was the first piece of lingerie that I tried on once my delivery arrived.

The Moonflower teddy screams sensuality, from the sheer lace to the with the criss-cross straps working overtime to draw attention to your cleavage.

The snap crotch was both sexy and practical. Sexy, because with one sweeping motion you can grant your significant other unlimited access, and practical because if nature calls you don’t have to spend precious time getting the whole kit and kaboodle off and on again.

Wearing this piece certainly made me feel powerful and extremely seductive. I largely put that down to the all the different materials present – the lace, the mesh, the satin, the back straps – it all combines seamlessly, and you end up exuding confidence.

The fuchsia’s bright

Anything with a halterneck gives me late ’90s/early 2000s vibes – you’re entitled to your own opinion, but in my book late ’90s/early 2000s vibes are a good thing. Recently I’ve been seeing lingerie in brighter colours, like this pink and fuchsia Flirty bra set, and I’m all for it. If it’s sexy you want, black lingerie doesn’t have to be your only option.

I’m always a fan of zero-underwire, so before I even tried this set on, I was starting to become a fan. However, I did have some mixed feelings about the keyhole detail at first. I am a proud member of the Itty-Bitty Titty Committee, so I was concerned that maybe this wouldn’t look as good on me as it would on someone with more ample assets.

As it turns out, my concerns were completely unwarranted – I still looked alluring in this flattering bralette. As to the bottom-half of this set, I loved the low-rise lace thong. Not only was it comfortable, it did a great job showing off what I consider to be my best asset.

Nights in white satin

Satin lingerie? Sign me up! Never mind the fact that this is a teddy (effortlessly sexy) or that it features a delicate cherry blossom print.

Again, no underwire in sight, so the Cherry Blossom teddy and I were already off to a go start as I got busy unwrapping it. The plunging neckline features soft lace, and I found it supremely dreamy – but one of my favourite features about this easy-to-wear piece is the open back.

The single adjustable slider is still there for you to get the perfect fit, but it doesn’t take away from the contemporary style of the teddy.

The phrase ‘elasticated waist’ doesn’t sound super sexy (personally, I feel it’s got that ‘PE gear’ feel to it) but you need to hear me out. The elasticated waist in this teddy is precisely what gives you shape whilst keeping you comfortable. Great for lounging around both before and after a roll in the hay.

The soft parade

I’ve welcomed this bralette and shorts set into my life with open arms. The softness of this fabric is unrivalled – I count this set as both lingerie and sleepwear because I’ve enjoyed blissful slumber in this little number multiple times now.

I also feel this set would be perfect for lounging around in regardless of the season. It’s light enough to keep you cool in summer, and perfect for snuggling up under a blanket in during winter.

The black fabric teamed with the white lace trim and the cheeky midriff show give this set serious sex appeal – I felt like quite the sex kitten whilst wearing it.

The bralette is supportive, but in no way does it feel restrictive, and the shorts had me showing a hint of bum cheek, which I loved.

I hate to play favourites, because everything in this haul was stunning, but I have to be honest and say that, for me, this set was the unofficial winner.
